OBITUARY - Frank L Spiller, son of Julia Osgood and Eliphaz C Spiller was born at Dixon, Illinois November 18, 1863 and departed this life March 20, 1946 in St Augustine, Florida at the Flagler hospital in that city. Mr Spiller resided in Dixon for 80 years until the past three years which were spent in Florida. He was united in marriage with Emma Heft in 1886 and to this union two sons were born, Roy and Albert. His wife and son Roy both preceded him in death.

In 1903 Mr Spiller was joined in marriage with Vena Trager who preceded him in death nine years ago. Mr Spiller was employed by the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad Co for 40 years after which he retired. Surviving him are his son, Albert W Spiller Sr and a grandson Albert W Spiller Jr both of St Augustine, Florida.

He was a member of the Masonic order and of the IOOF lodge. Monday March 25, 1946 funeral services were conducted at 2 pm at the First Christian church in Dixon the Rev Marvin Brown officiating with interment at Oakwood cemetery.

BURIAL: Frank is buried on lot 1013 S 1/2 space 1- SW. His wife is buried beside him.
