Hazel Josephine “Jo” Webster, age 94, of Versailles, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City.
She was born April 23, 1926, in Blackwell, Oklahoma, a daughter of the late Louis and Zelda (Crosswhite) Croy.
On July 1, 1948, in Versailles, she was united in marriage to William Robert Webster, who preceded her in death on October 5, 2000.
Jo was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gravois Mills.
She was a wonderful cook and always took care of her family. Jo loved her family and her grandchildren held a special place in her heart.
She is survived by her children, Earl Daniel Webster and wife Kathy of Versailles, Missouri, Billy Michael Webster of Kansas City, Missouri and Sandra Jo Randall of Versailles, Missouri; grandsons, Brett Randall and wife Megan, Seth Randall and Jeff Webster; great-grandson, Ike Randall and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Clifford Croy, sisters, Pauline Roll and Mary Ellen Alpers and a son-in-law, Clay Randall.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 8th, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles with Pastor Chris Bass officiating. Graveside services and interment will follow in the Versailles Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Friday, at the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
