David B. Hardwick, 70, Anderson, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at Miller's Merry Manor in Chesterfield following a brief illness.
He was born on January 12, 1950, in Muncie, Indiana to William Hardwick and Pauline (Longnecker) Hardwick .
David graduated from Muncie Central High School.
David enjoyed gardening, cooking and fishing.
He retired in 2008 from Borg Warner Automotive in Muncie, in quality control.
He is survived by his wife Cathy (Renbarger) Hardwick of Anderson; three children, Adalie Hardwick, Brandon Hardwick, and David W. Hardwick; sister, Jill Messer; two grandchildren. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Michael Hardwick and a sister Cynthia Hornback.
A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, January 8, 2021, at Hersberger-Bozell Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana with Rev. Gary Klinger officiating.
Visitation will be from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at the funeral home, Friday.
