Mrs. Beall

After a lingering illness of several weeks, Mrs. Mary Beall passed away peacefully last Saturday evening. The end was not unexpected for she ah been near death's door for several days.
Mrs. Mary, the daughter of Remembrance H. and Mary Emmaline Curl was born at Carmichals, Green county, Pennsylvania, on the 17th day of March, 1848. She died at her home in Princeville, Illinois, on the 23rd day of February 1924 at the age of 75 years, 11 months and 12 days. In company with her parents she came to Illinois at four years of age.
On the 15th day of March 1866, she was united in marriage with Francis M. Beall, with whom she lives in happy and loving union until Mr. Beall's death three weeks ago. This union was blessed with seven children, four girls, Josephine, Emma, Hattie and Olive, and three boys, Charles, Thomas and Francis Jr. Three daughters preceded the mother in death: Emma on the 16th day of March, 1887, Olive on the 8th day of December, 1897 and Josephine on the 1st day of April, 1905.
Princeville has been the home of Mr. and Mrs. Beall since their removal from the farm in 1890. Mrs. Beal together with her husband were members of the Methodist church.
Thus inadequately is recorded the passing of a woman who live for her children and her home, and who in the trying duties of Housewife and mother still had time for the needy about her.
Funeral services were held from the Methodist church Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock, Rev. C. E. Magnuson officiating. Interment took place in Princeville cemetery.
