Adeline M. McConaghy 77, of La Crosse died on Thursday April 13, 2000 at the Franciscan Skemp Healthcare Medical Center. She was born on Aug. 30, 1922 in Austin Minn., to John and Selma (Galstad) Oestreich. She married James P. McConaghy on Sept. 10, 1942, in La Crosse. She was a member of St Anne's Altar Society of Holy Trinity Parish, La Crosse. Adeline was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
In addition to her husband she is survived by four daughters Phyllis, Jane, Juliem and Patricia, two sons John, and Richard, 12 grandchildren, two grandchildren, and a brother Jerome Oestreich. She was preceded in death by a sister Genevive Betz.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday April 17, 2000, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. The Rev. Lawrence B. Berge will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Friends may call at the Schumacher Kish Funeral Home of La Crosse on Sunday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
