A graveside service for Yvonne “Mimi” Fitts will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 11:00a.m. at Arlington Cemetery in El Dorado, Arkansas.
Yvonne Fitts, 82, of El Dorado, Arkansas was born on July 20, 1938 in Bernice, LA to her parents, Thomas Byron Puckett and Annie Pearl English. Mrs. Fitts passed away on January 2, 2021 in Longview, Texas. She was a member of East Main Baptist Church. Mrs. Fitts loved teaching Sunday School and doing Ladies Bible Studies. She was a past member of Ark-LA-Tex Gem and Mineral Society and El Dorado Red Hat Society. Mrs. Fitts loved the outdoors, especially bird watching. She loved her family and enjoyed having family get togethers with them all.
Mrs. Fitts is survived by her daughter, Altania Richmond and spouse, Donald; sister, Nanette Knight; grandchildren, Katelyn Headrick and spouse, Kyle, Colleen Ruiz and spouse, Antonio, Kayla Mobley and spouse, Patrick, Cory McMullen and fiancé, Mikayla Trippe, and Cameron Richmond; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Mobley, Hallie Headrick, and Harper DeVillier. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Mrs. Fitts is preceded in death by her parents, Byron and Annie Pearl Puckett; son, Barron Barak Fitts; brother, Faye Arnold Puckett; sister, Ouita Odom and spouse, Lester.
In lieu of flowers the family of Mrs. Fitts has requested that any donations be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana.
