Bob returned to school at his beloved alma mater, Florida State University where he completed a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice. This achievement launched his distinguished career in civil service as an investigator for federal agencies that included Naval Intelligence, Department of Energy and Nuclear Regulatory Commission from which he retired in 1993.

Bob invested his retirement years serving others through disaster relief efforts with Red Cross and visiting hospice patients even as his vision began to fail. He was also a faithful and active member of Zion Baptist Church in Conyers, GA.
