The information below is not correct. This information is the wrong Thomas A Funderburk. He was living with his son-in-law, Marcus Caldwell and daughter Julia Caldwell in Meriwether, Ga when he died. His wife continued to live with their daughter and son-in-law until her death. ……….

Elizabeth Willis and Wm Greer had Martha Greer. Then Elizabeth married Wm Taft and had Arrena Taft, who is the mother of Martha Taft.

Same Dr. delivered T. H. Funderburk, his first delivery (the 2 1/2 lb. baby). Grandmother Martha Elizabeth was first patient, as a Medical Doctor. He was formerly a veterinarian. The family doctor had left for office 23 miles away 2 hours previous. Doctor Cosby was called in emergency as regular Dr. could not be caught or contacted with Horse & Buggy Days. His mother died 5 days after his birth. The family remembers that Thomas Henry was not expected to live and spent his first months in a shoe box kept near to the stove. His daughters thought he was raised by the cousin (actually the mother) of his step mother, Arrena Batchelor

Thomas Henry Funderburk died of a heart attack in Oregon while on a bus from California.
