Frances E. Lewis, 95, of Farmer City, died Wednesday, August 27, 2003 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. Funeral services were held Saturday at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home; with burial in Greenleaf Cemetery, Farmer City.
Mrs. Lewis was born March 17, 1908 in Farmer City, a d/o Andrew and Mary Elizabeth Case Riggs. She married Jesse Robert Lewis (1904-1988) on December 23, 1927 in Bloomington. He died July 30, 1988. Survivors include a son, David of St John, MO; a daughter, Roma Pearl of Solon, Iowa; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters and a great-granddaughter.
