Undertaker Madison Adams of this place, was called to Jerry City again last week on Friday evening to prepare for burial the body of another pioneer citizen of that section, Mrs. Susan Swope, the widow of the late Abraham Swope.
Mrs. Swope was past 93 years of age and leaves three children, two sons, Enos and Bert at whose home she died, and daughter, Mrs. Sarah Lee of Toledo.
The funeral services were conducted at the home Saturday with burial in the Jerry City cemetery. Mrs. Swope was a sister of Paul Byers of this place, and Mrs. Huff, the mother of Albert Huff and Mrs. Ed Lehmann.
