Has a wordy obituary that does not mention a burial. Cremation was not that common a practice at that time. It may have been that he was returned to Alabama for burial, but I don't see evidence of that in the records or in the family trees on Ancestry.

Served as the superintendent of Florala City Schools from 1900 to 1929.

Lived in San Diego for the last 22 years of his life.

Had 2 children with his second wife-

Alice Lorraine Doster, born 17 Oct 1932 in San Diego. She married Frank A. Davis, 1 Jul 1951 in San Diego. There is a death index that says she died 10 Aug 1986 in Newport News VA., but I have some uncertainty as to whether it is her.

Paul Edward Doster, born 12 Dec 1933 in San Diego. Married Shirley A. Leedom, 8 Jan 1954 in San Diego.
