Surviving are his wife Jean, of Brooklyn; his children, Ronnie, of Brooklyn, Jackie (Alex) Snyder, of Belle Plaine and Chad (Kathy Joynt), of Huxley; two grandchildren, Zachary Snyder, of Iowa City and Corbin Faidley, of Cedar Rapids; three sisters, Phyllis Faidley, of Colfax, Linda (Cal) Beem, of Nevada and Shirley Smith, DeQueen, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Dale.

Ronald was employed by Donaldsons in Grinnell for 38 years and was also a farmhand for 42 years. He enjoyed gardening, Nascar, deer hunting and fishing.
