FATHER: WILLIAM IRVINE. (1741-1804) ------ Revolutionary War Continental Army Brigadier General , Continental Congress delegate, and U. S. Congressman from Pennsylvania. Commanded Pennsylvania Militia during the Whiskey Rebellion.

MOTHER: ANNE (CALLENDER) IRVINE, ( 1758-1823 ) Daughter of Captain Robert Callender, one of eleven children. Married 1772.

BROTHER: CALLENDER IRVINE, (1775-1841 ) Commissary General of the United States Army, 1812-1841.

NOTE: There is currently no buried site for Armstrong Irvine. He was perhaps buried at Fort Warren, Massachusetts, or in the Cemetery where his father was buried thirteen years earlier, Gloria Dei Church Burial Ground in Philadelphia. It is also possible he was buried next to his baby sister in the Old Graveyard in Carlisle , Pennsylvania. His brother James was also buried there, as were many other Irvine Family Members.

More research is needed.
