Daughter of Horace and Mary Ioni (Crump) Allen. She married Jack Shepherd on June 26, 1943 in Young County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; two sons, Wayne and Gary Shepherd; brother, Don Allen; and sister, Gurene Monday. She is survived by her daughter, Leann Pierce and husband, Rusty of Fort Worth; son, Kenny Shepherd and wife, Dorothy of Boyd; daughter-in-law, Lou Shepherd of Fort Worth; five grandsons, John, Brant, Clint, Kenneth, Jr., and Justin; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
