Our beloved Socorro was born on April 20, 1921 and left this life on April 7, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred; mother, Carmen; son, Alfredo and sister, Rita.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Carmen Cuestas; brothers, Oscar and Jimmy Leon; son, Andres (Frances); daughters, Adelina and Alma (Manuel); nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Socorro was a strong-willed and compassionate woman who loved unconditionally and was always willing to help others in need.

She was a devoted Wildcats fan, who always sported her red and blue and enjoyed cheering on the Softball, Baseball and Basketball teams.

Socorro instilled and modeled the values of love and unity for her family and was surrounded by her loved ones as she entered eternal rest.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 13, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY (South Chapel) 240 S. Stone Ave. with a Rosary recited at 9:00 a.m. Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. John's Church, 602 W. Ajo Way.

Interment at Leon Cemetery in Vail, Arizona.
