We got Hansel when he was 6 weeks old. He grew to be a very big boy weighing in at 165 pounds. Even though he was so large, he was not overweight. He wasn't just a dog to us, he was a "person" and a part of our family. He was loyal, loving, and kind to other animals. He loved Cheesburgers, long walks, and laying on top of people who fell asleep on the couch. He liked to stop and smell all of the flowers in the garden. He barked at squirrels and birds who came into the yard, but didn't mind if they stayed outside the fence. He was afraid of Thunder. He used to bury socks in the backyard. He is survived by his human family, his canine sister Zoe, and his canine cousins Sadie and Lulu. He also has feline brothers Simba and Pumbaa and feline cousins Meigosh and Willow.
