Following is a note from one of these children;
"Unlike her sons, she loved to dance; she also loved parties and loved to go out to eat. She enjoyed playing cards with her kids and our friends. She loved all our friends, and our home was always open to them. I am sure that all our friends were very fond of her. She was very loving and taught us to be accepting and tolerant of all people. She was very affectionate, and, obviously, she loved babies. Not just her own, but ALL babies.
She was born at home in Maywood, IL in 1928. She attended Proviso East High School. As a mother, Dolores never missed a school activity or presentation in which any of her kids were involved. Ask any of her eight kids, she was a GREAT mom!!!!"
