RICHMOND, Ind. – Myra J. Miller, age 83, of Richmond, Indiana, died Monday, December 28, 2020, at Reid Health.

Born October 18, 1937, in Richmond, Indiana, to Lawrence A. and Mary Ullom Miller Sr., Myra was a life-long resident of this community. She graduated from Richmond High School in 1955 and attended Earlham College. Myra retired from West End Bank and previously served as the assistant city clerk. Church was a very important part of her life. Myra was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday school. Myra was active in the community, including being a member of Kiwanis Club and Delta Theta Tau Sorority, serving on the YMCA board for many years, and mentoring children. She was an avid bowler, who enjoyed bowling most of her life and was inducted into the Indiana Bowling Hall of Fame in 1995. Myra also enjoyed golfing, playing bridge, reading, and going out to dinner with her friends. She was an animal lover who adopted several dogs throughout her lifetime. Myra was a very outgoing and friendly lady, who had a bubbly personality.

Survivors include her sister, Maryann Harmon of Miami Shores, Florida; nieces, Gina Larkin of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, Kristine George of Miami, Florida, Vicki Cox of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Debbie Troxel of Richmond; nephew, Ed Miller of Columbus, Ohio; cousins; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Larry Miller and Bettie Mayes.
