A native of Blackshear, Bob graduated from Waycross High School in 1965, and he served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, William Wayne Ellis and Ada Lougene Mixon Ellis; his wife, Angelyn Latrelle Ellis; and two brothers, David Edward Ellis and John Frank Ellis.
Survivors include his caregivers, Tommy Sikes and David Bennett.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday (January 8, 2021) at Waters Cemetery.
