• FORT WORTH, Texas -- Services for Lonnie Ray Barker, 58, Marietta, will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home in Fort Worth, Texas. Memorial services were Tuesday at the New Beginnings Church in Marietta.
Barker was born Oct. 23, 1941, at Brownwood, Texas, to the late Clarence and Edna Barker. He died Jan. 9, 2000.
Reared in Fort Worth, he worked for General Motors Company in Arlington, Texas, until his retired in 1992 and moved to Marietta.
Survivors include his wife, Elisabeth; sons, Billy, Ronnie, Lonnie and Ray Barker; a daughter, Donna Barber; sisters, Patricia Myer and Lena Barker; brothers, Travis and Dean Baker; and five grandchildren.
