Marilyn L. Zimmerman, 83, of Centre Twp., passed away in her residence on Monday, December 28, 2020. She was the wife of Larry C. Zimmerman. They were married on March 10, 1956 and celebrated sixty-four years of marriage.

Born in Centerport, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Esther (Koenig) Kline. She was a graduate of Ontelaunee High School. Marilyn worked as a teller at the Leesport Bank. She was a former tax collector for Centre Twp. Marilyn was a member of Salem (Belleman's) Church, Centre Twp., where she was a choir member for more than forty years. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star and Central Berks Fire Company, Centerport. Marilyn enjoyed singing, gardening and reading.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her children: Charles L. Zimmerman, husband of Linda, Mohrsville; Kim L. Zimmerman, Reading; and Natalie A. Zimmerman, wife of Jeffery L. Sargen, Leesport; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Marilyn was predeceased by a daughter: Laurie A. Zimmerman, who died March 10, 2017; and one brother: Robert Kline.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Fairview (Belleman's) Cemetery, Centre Twp.
