Marzano, Allan G.

Of Jackson, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020, at the age of 75 years. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Valerie; six children, Robert (Suzanne), Dr. David, Elizabeth (Bradley) Saunders, Joseph, Kathleen and Michael; seven grandchildren Megan, Matthew, Charles, Joshua, Catherine, Chloe, and Sydney; two sisters Janice and Nancy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Godfrey and Helen Marzano, and his brother Donald. Allan was a very active member of the Jackson community, including the Jackson Area Manufacturing Association, Junior Achievement, as well as serving on the boards of Foote Hospital and the Jackson Country Club. He spent many years in the steel industry, including serving as the Treasurer of Jackson Steel Services until serving as the General Manger of Worthington Specialty Processing. A graduate of the University of Connecticut, Allan eventually adopted his much beloved Michigan Wolverines and enjoyed watching them play with his children and grandchildren every year. His greatest joy was spending time with his children and grandchildren.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Fr. Chas Canoy officiating. Interment will be at St. John’s Cemetery.

Instead of flowers, contributions to St. John School would be appreciated.
