BALTIMORE RITES HELD, MILL CITY
Mill City - Funeral services for Westley U. Baltimore, who die here Thursday, March 14, was held in the Presbuyterian Church, Rev. Lee Gray officiating.
Baltimore was born August 15, 1853, Umatilla County, Ore., as his parents were crossing the plains. He married Phoebe Overholser, October 14, 1873. To this union four children were born, the two of whom survive are Henry T. Baltimore of Mill City , Frank P. Baltimore of Eugene, and a daughter by a second marriage, Mrs. H. T. Simpson of Los Angeles. Also six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Baltimore had made his home with his son, Henry Baltimore, for the past 25 years. His younger days were spent in and around Albany. He was a noted hunter and fisherman. Interment was in the Fairview cemetery.
