Sylvia Reed Hoffman, 83 of Gordonsville died Sunday December 27, 2020 at Martha Jefferson Hospital. Born December 6, 1937 in Columbia, SC, she was the daughter of the late Harry Mindel Reed and Virginia Livingston Reed. Mrs. Hoffman retired from National Bank of Gordonsville where she worked for over 30 years. She was a member of Gordonsville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene Hoffman of Gordonsville, a daughter, Ginger Garton and husband Chuck of Gordonsville, two sons, Andy Hoffman and wife Marsha of Rhoadesville, Jeff Hoffman and wife Sheila of Gordonsville, a brother, Harry Reed, Jr. and wife Sandy of North, SC, Mary Beth Carter of Johnston, SC, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday December 30, 2020 at Maplewood Cemetery in Gordonsville with Rev. Penny Pelter officiating.
