Born August 30, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio to James Alonzo and Dorothy May (Stueber) Anderson. She had been the youngest child joining her older brother James (Doris) Anderson and sister Julie Beech. She was a 1952 graduate of Shelby High School and attended college at Ripon where she had taken a milk train from Chicago to Wisconsin. She later transferred to Baldwin Wallace, until leaving to take care of her mother.
Jane was one of the first computer programmers at Shelby Mutual where she worked for 42 years retiring in 1996. She enjoyed bowling, driving her convertibles. An avid knitter, she had made over 80 Christmas stockings, one for everyone in the family.
Survivors include numerous nieces, nephews including James (Natalie) Anderson of Ashland, OH, Mike (Cathy) Anderson of Shiloh and Amy (Al) Bartosiak of Shelby, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Doris Anderson.
Friends may call at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby Saturday, January 2, 2021 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM officiated by Pastor James Robinson with interment in Oakland Cemetery.
