Marilyn B. Mealy passed away at her home in Scott City, Kansas. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since1972, moving from Sterling, Illinois, she was a retired legal secretary for Wallace, Brantley & Shirley from 1983 until 2008.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women both of Scott City, Kansas.
On September 3, 1949, she married William Thomas Mealy in Lakewood, Colorado. He passed away on January 2, 1976, in Bucklin, Kansas.
Survivors include her One Son of Topeka, Kansas; Two Daughters and their husbands, Loveland, Colorado, and Lenexa, Kansas; Two Granddaughters and spouses; and One Great Grandson.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband - William Mealy, One Son - Billy Mealy, One Sister - Shirley Fieghner, and One Brother - Richard Bishop.
Marilyn’s family would like to thank the Scott City Community for their friendship and support throughout her life in Scott City.
Funeral Services at the First United Methodist Church in Scott City, and interment in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
