Marjorie Lane, 80, of Morgantown, formerly of Fairmont, died on Monday, March 8, 2004 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She was born June 6, 1923 in Walnut, West Virginia the daughter of the late Will and Cleora Yost Harold.

She was a loving housewife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Marjorie was known as an angel to all. She was a member of the Bible Methodist Church. She loved attending yard sales and enjoyed quilting.

She is survived by her loving husband Carl Lane of Morgantown.
In addition to her husband she is survived by four sons, James Carl "Buck" Land and his wife Paulette of Clymer, Pennsylvania; Billy Ray Lane and his wife Teri of Fairmont, West Virginia; Robert Keith Lane and his wife Yvonne of Commodore, Pennsylvania; and Ricky Joe Lane and fiancé Lisa of Fairmont, West Virginia. Five daughters, Mildred Lea Nichols and her husband Dave of Brook Park, Ohio; Helen Marie Edwards of Morgantown, West Virginia; Juanita Carol Norman and her husband Bill of Greensboro, Georgia; Judy Carlene Miller and her husband Don of Fairmont, West Virginia; Sharon Margie Burrows and her husband Don of Fairmont, West Virginia. Two sisters, Dorothy Jean Whaley and her husband Bob of Louisiana, and Lydia Lewis of Streetsboro, Ohio; Thirty-two grandchildren; forty-nine great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son Steve Allen Lane; four brothers Dennis Harold, Dillon Harold, Milford Harold, Manford Harold; three sisters Bay Sharp, Arlie Lane, and Myrtle Faulks.
