Leroy Richard Hill
May 17, 1944-November 27, 2018

On the morning of November 27, 2018, Leroy happily left to walk with
our Lord Jesus with those he loved and cherished at his side. He was
born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana on May 17, 1944.

Leroy married his true love, Mary Ann, on November 21, 1964 at Queen
of Angels Catholic Church in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. They were blessed to
have just celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary. He worked as an
iron worker and was a member of Iron Workers Local 147. Leroy enjoyed
his classic cars and showing them in car shows. He had fun going to
Laughlin and playing the keno machines. He was instrumental in
implementing handicap accessibility in numerous states across the
country and worked tenaciously with the LHC Mayor's Task Force making
Lake Havasu more accessible for the handicapped. He was a devoted
member of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church. He dedicated his
time to helping others. He was youth group coordinator for his church,
and member of the paraplegic foundation. He was a member of American
Wheelchair Bowling Association and traveled for bowling tournaments.
He loved to go to Disneyland. He loved playing cards with family and
showing his grandchildren card tricks.

Leroy is preceded in death by his parents; Roy and Jeannette Hill, and
his sister; Geraldine Hill.

He is survived by his loving wife; Mary Ann Hill, son; Troy Lee Hill,
daughter; Dawn Renee (Steve) Moore, brothers; Charles (Bonita) Butz
and Kenneth Hill, sister; Evelyn Cramer, ten grandchildren; Miranda,
Janell, Jarin, Corine, Aurelia, Monessa, Nathaniel, Jacob, Andrew and
Claire, and extended family; Wendy (Richard) Gibson.

A Rosary will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church on
Friday, December 7, 2018 at 12:30 with Funeral Mass to follow at 1:00
pm.

In lieu of flowers; make donations to Our Lady of the Lake Catholic
School or Youth Group.

Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
