Doris Florence Warren, 90 ESCONDIDO -- Doris Warren passed away Saturday, July 4, 2009. She was born April 5, 1919, daughter of Edward and Florence Gardner. Doris graduated from high school in Winslow, Arizona in 1936. In 1940, she graduated from Albuquerque, N.M. Business College. She became an Administrative Secretary. Doris lived in Escondido for 13 years, coming from Cave Junction, Oregon. She became a member of the Escondido Christian Center, and Faith Harbor Church. She loved staying in contact with friends and family, was a long time bowler, writer of poems, and always working for Jesus to further the Kingdom of God. She was funny, cute, witty, quite the artist, and a shining light for Jesus. She was a lover of music, and played the piano for every church she attended. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Wilson Warren; son, Bill Warren; granddaughter, Cindy Warren; and brothers, Babe and Clyde Gardner. She is survived by her daughter, Jeanie Louise Kreamier of Escondido, Calif.; son, Carl Edward Warren of Escondido; ten grandchildren, 18 great- grandchildren, and 15 great- great-grandchildren. A service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 11, at Faith Harbor Church, 444 So. Escondido Blvd., Escondido. Pastor Rob Granger will be officiating. All are welcome.
