Bartholomew J. "Bert" Trzebiatowski, age 89, of Plover WI died peacefully at his son's home on Tuesday December 22, 2020 with his family at his side.

Bert was born on December 12, 1931 in Amherst, WI to the late Bert and Amelia (Brychell) Trzebiatowski II. He married Helen Bannach on May 10, 1954 at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover, WI. Bert played for the Buena Vista baseball team. Through the years he was elected to serve on the Buena Vista town board as a supervisor for 12 years. He was a member of the Plover/Whiting Lions Club. He was a member of St. Bronislava serving as an usher and in the Holy Name Society. He also was a member of the Portage County Pork Producers. Bert was a lifetime farmer, establishing the Golden Sands Swine Inc. Plover, WI.

Bert is survived by: his wife: Helen and 6 children: Bert (Mary) Trzebiatowski IV Bancroft, WI.; Pauline (Dave) Wysocki Stevens Point, WI.; Kathy (Mark) Peskie Custer, WI.; Patricia (Randy) Kwiatkowski Amherst, WI.; Alan (Karen) Trzebiatowski Plover, WI; Gary (Jill) Trzebiatowski, Stevens Point, WI.; 17 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers: Gregory Trzebiatowski Concepcion, Chile, S. America; George (Diane) Trzebiatowski Almond, WI.; 2 sisters: Marie (William) Torzewski Pewaukee, WI.; and Margaret Thiele Wisconsin Rapids, WI. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Bert was preceded in death by his parents, sister Betty Abrahamson and her husband Charles, a grandson Bert "B J" Trzebiatowski V.

Bert was proud of his farming life along with his wife and children and always enjoyed all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established at a later date as per family wishes.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday December 28, 2020, at St. Bronislava Catholic Church 3200 Plover Road Plover. Rev. Ed Shuttleworth will officiate. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home, 2911 Plover Road, Plover with a rosary to be said at 4:00 P.M. to conclude the visitation.

Masks and social distancing will be required at the funeral home and at church for the funeral mass. If you are not comfortable attending or are in ill health, the funeral mass will be livestreamed Monday from the St. Bronislava face book page.

The family would like to thank Whispering Pines, and Heartland Hospice for their loving care and guidance shown to us during our Dad's time while under their care.
