PEORIA - Leo “Bob” Robert Lang, 91, of Peoria, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020 at his residence.
He was born June 28, 1929 in Hays, KS to John and Mary Staab Lang.
He married Betty Jean Fueger; she preceded him in death June 6, 2011. His sons, Jerald Lang, Scott A. Lang and brother, Kenneth Lang also preceded him in death.
He is survived by is sons, Stephen Lang and Patrick Lang; three grandchildren and brothers, Michael Lang, and Charles Lang.
Bob served in the U.S. Air Force and worked in administration at Cilco, retiring in 1986. He was a dedicated family man. He was a member of St. Cecelia Church, where he coached boys basketball. He liked the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears. Bob loved golfing, fishing and watching Lawrence Welk. He enjoyed going to the Par-A-Dice Casino.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. Pekin/Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements.
