Her favorite things were eating Mexican food, playing bingo, and dancing the night away with friends. She loved staying active and would never miss her daily walk in the mall. She lived life to the fullest with only one regret, not having her picture posted on a jar of Smucker's to celebrate making it to 100. She was the strongest woman we knew and endured so much in life while maintaining a positive attitude that drew people to her. Her personality matched the vibrant red color of her hair and her smile and laugh were contagious. She was witty with just the right amount of sass. She will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
Sue was preceded in death by her son Doyle Bridgefarmer. Her spirit will be carried on by her beloved son, Billy Jerald Bridgefarmer(1943-2020), who has special needs and whom she cared for up until she passed; her six adoring grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and her daughter-in-law Mary Bridgefarmer.
Sue had a strong relationship with Christ and we are comforted in knowing HE has welcomed her home in HIS warm and loving embrace.
On Sunday, April 9, 2017, family and friends will gather at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home (14501 Interstate 35, Pflugerville, TX 78660) for a celebration of her wonderful life. There will be a viewing at noon before the 1:00 memorial service. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
