Leah Kay Kile passed away on December 16, 2020 in Duncan at the age of 65.

Memorial services are pending at this time. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center in Duncan.

Leah was born on October 9, 1955, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She graduated from Tupelo High School and had earned a bachelor's degree from the East Central University. She was a register nurse that had worked for Duncan Regional Hospital for many years. Leah loved her job and took great pride in taking care of her patients as well as enjoyed working with her fellow colleagues. Family meant the world to Leah and she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren; from traveling, teaching them how to can foods, how to garden, and be self sufficient. She loved to go to estate sales with friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Cross and stepmother, Leah Cross; grandparents: Gertie Wisdom; Madison Wisdom; two brothers: Sony Cross; Larry Cross; and sister, Treeta Blanton.

Leah is survived by three children: Teresa Dunn; Jay Ward; Springer Knighten; four grandchildren: Cricket Watts; Colten Dunn; Madison Dunn; Desmond Knighten; four brothers: Gerald Cole; Stein Cole; Jon Cross; Kein Cross; and sister, Oretha Watkins.
