Mrs. Mary A. Chambers, 81, widow of Henry F. Chambers, passed away about 11:30 o'clock Tuesday night at the home of her son-in-law and daughter. Dr. and Mrs, Henry A. Romberg, 1354 Plummer avenue, Death was due to infirmities incident to her advanced age.

The deceased was born Aug. 26, 1866, in Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Schumann. On Jan. 27. 1887. she was married here to Henry F. Chambers, who preceded her in death in 1924,

She was a member of Tenth Street Methodist church and was a charter member of the Women's Society of Christian Service of that church. She had formerly lived at 719 Ninth street for many year, and for the last four and a half years resided at 1354 Plummer avenue.

Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Vivian F. Romberg, wife of Dr. Henry A. Romberg; one brother, Otto Schumann; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Neff and Mrs. J. J, Baranowski; four grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth, Daniel, Ellen Ann and Steven Romberg, all of this city. One sister and four brothers preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Marquardt funeral home. The Rev. Marlin E. Smith will officiate. Interment will take place at Riverside cemetery. Friends may call to view the remains Thursday afternoon and up to the time of the service at the funeral home.
