Dave & Minnie Coffey were married January 12, 1924. He was a very loving husband and father, Minnie was the love of his life. After Minnie's death he married Eva Bingham but that marriage only lasted a shot while before they divorced.

Dave L. Blake, age 66 died suddenly Monday morning, December 22, 1958 at his home in Pine Orchard community near Oakdale. Mr. Blake was a retired farmer, a Veteran of World War 1 and a retired teacher of Veterans.
Survivors; daughter, Mrs. Joe Zumstein; two brothers, Ira and Walter; one sister, Mrs. C. P. Snyder all of Oakdale.
Funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg with Rev. Fred Copeland and Rev. B.G. Painter officiating.
Burial in Pine Orchard Cemetery with Morgan County American Legion Post No. 149 in charge of graveside services. The body is at the funeral home in Wartburg, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
