Bob was born to Stanley and Ruth Allen in 1946. He graduated from Peninsula High School in 1964. He served in the Vietnam War, being awarded the Purple Heart after surviving being shot, as well as the Bronze Star, and was credited for saving a fellow Marine's life. A lover of baseball, Bob spent many years playing, and eventually sponsoring softball teams. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and sister Gayle. Bob is survived by girlfriend and companion Maggie, 4 siblings, and numerous neices and nephews.
