James C. Schlosser, age 81 of Lincoln University, passed away at the Jennersville Hospital on Thursday, December 17, 2020. He was the husband of the late Evelyn Lucille Ager Schlosser, who passed away on August 12, 2019. He was born in Lilly, PA, son of the late Henry “Camp” & Ursula “Sue” Ickes Schlosser. James was a member of the Jennersville Church of the Brethren. He graduated from Gallitzin High School and Penn State with a Bachelor Degree in Education. He taught 7th and 8th grade Science at Collindale High School for 38 years, where he also coached football, basketball and baseball. He was inducted into the Delaware County Hall of Fame. Surviving are 2 children: Susan wife of Gene Garis of Kirkwood, Michael husband of Kelly Stabulis Schlosser of Swarthmore, PA, 3 grandsons: Joshua Garis, Andrew Schlosser & Michael Schlosser, 2 brothers: Henry Michael husband of Joanne Kowalski Schlosser of Gallitzin, PA and Timothy B. Schlosser partner of John Maher of Duncansville, PA. A private graveside service and burial will take place in the Union Cemetery with a memorial service to be scheduled at a safer time in the future. Reynoldsandshivery.com
