1) Mary Jane Caughman, October 12, 1874 in Washington County, Arkansas. She died in 1920.
2) Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Jones, September 18, 1921, in Washington County, Arkansas.
Burial at Collier Cemetery.

His mother, Sarah Ann (Hudson) Barnes-Southern (1824-1914) is buried in Oak Grove cemetery, at Blackburn, here in Washington County, Arkansas.

Joe and Mary Janes's son, Fred, died in 1915 and is buried in Collier Cemetery at Winslow. Five years later when Mary died, she was buried there also.

Her FG Memorial shows her husband, J. W. Barnes, died in 1934.
