Alma H. Bailey passed away March 25, 1992 in Salt Lake City, Utah of a lingering illness.

He was born July 17, 1919 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, a son of William Thomas and Zina Dee Ritchie Bailey. He retired from the Union Pacific Railroad in 1979 after 36 years. He married Marian Benson in 1942; later divorced. Married Mary Ann Powell; she died in 1978. Married Faye Wittke, November 18, 1980.

Surviving are his wife, Faye of Salt Lake City; three sons, Terry (Sherry) Bailey, Alma (Margaret) Bailey, Leland (Helen) Bailey; two daughters, Linda (Lou) Berry, Frances (David) Banford; a stepson, Kenneth (Lillian) Lunn; a sister, Louise Day; 28 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Leland, one son, Scott Jay Bailey and a grandson, Troy Banford.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 28, 1992, 11 a.m., Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, where friends may call one hour prior to services.
