Lee K. Worrell died suddenly yesterday morning at his home in Clayton. Mr. Worrell had been mowing the lawn and had stopped to rest on the porch swing when he slumped to the floor. It is believed that he suffered a heart attack.
A native of Clayton, he was born December 23, 1896 to Albert and Mary Ader Worrell in the very home in which he died. He had been employed at the John Deere Implement Companyin Clayton. He was a retired farmer.
Funeral services are Friday afternoon at the Hampton Funeral Home with burial in the Clayton Cemetery. The Rev. William W. Ridenour of the Clayton Presbyterian Church will officiate at the services.
Surviving are the widow, Laura Almond Worrell; daughter, Mrs. Virginia Lee Henry of Indianapolis; two grandchildren; brother Willard of Indianapolis; and two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Swanson, and Mrs. Kate Johnson, both of Indianapolis.
