Glennie L. Haase, age 90, of Alma, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020 at the Stone Lodge Memory Care Nursing Home in Shepherd. Glennie was born February 28, 1930 in Alma, the daughter of Charles and Adelaide (Rolixman) Brown. She graduated from Alma High School. Glennie married Max A. Haase on February 20, 1954 at the First Presbyterian Church in Alma.

She worked for JC Penny in Alma for many years and also as a real estate agent. Glennie was a member of the East Minster Presbyterian Church of Alma. She enjoyed collecting dolls and playing cards with friends.

She is survived by her son Tyler (Aleta) Haase, daughter Ellen Haase, three grandchildren, Mary (Matt) Redman, Matt (Jaime) Haase, Heather Evitts, three great-grandchildren, siblings Wanda Shifferd, Jim Brown, Charlotte (Gerald) Jenkins and many nieces and nephews.

Glennie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Joel Haase, great granddaughter Addison Redman and brothers Stuart, Ralph, Bill and Jerry Brown and sister Rosie Mercado.

Per her wishes a cremation has taken place and a family graveside service will be held at a later date in Riverside Cemetery’s Veterans Section. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Stone Lodge Memory Care Nursing Home in Shepherd.
