Joyce A. Breitzka, 78, of Trail Creek, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Franciscan St. Anthony Hospital in Michigan City.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 12 Noon at the Root Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Saint Stanislaus Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 12 noon at the funeral home.
Joyce was born November 11, 1942 in Michigan City to the late Raymond and Marian (Wilke) Wozniak.
On May 4, 1963 in Michigan City she married Dennis Breitzka who passed away in November of 2009.
Surviving are four children, Christine (Terry) Sydow, Michael (Kelly) Breitzka, Scott Breitzka and Cathy Gonder; five grandchildren, Brandon (Teresa) Sydow, Tiffany (Alex Smyers) Sydow, Nicholas (Jena) Sydow, Taryn (Hunter) Miller and Hailey (John Payton) Gonder; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Janet (Dan) Biggerstaff and Linda (Mike) Buda; two brothers, David (Vicky) Wozniak and Don Wozniak; and many loving nieces, nephews that called her "Aunt Juice" and friends.
She is preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Raymond and Richard.
She was a member of Saint Stanislaus Church and Rosary Sodality. She loved playing bingo and was a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter #935. Her greatest joy though was spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
