Tom was born in Jackson, Mississippi, and was the third of eight children born to the late Thomas and Alice Holland. He was a graduate of Mississippi College and University of Mississippi Medical School. He spent five years as Lieutenant Commander in the Navy as an Aviation Medical Officer.
Tom specialized in emergency medicine and spent 18 years of his career as the Director of Emergency Department at Santa Rosa Hospital. Tom was acclaimed by his fellow doctors. In addition, he was a deacon at First Baptist Church, Milton, Florida; and now a member of Pine Terrace Baptist Church, Milton.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 14, 2020, at Pine Terrace Baptist Church, with Lewis Funeral Home of Milton directing.
Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., prior to the service.
