He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty "Johnie" Courtwright; and his grandparents, Hobert and Irene Courtwright, and Margaret and Raymond Hancock.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Rita Kalnins Courtwright; sons, Wyatt Lane, and Shea Eli Courtwright; father, Donald Lee (Missie) Courtwright of Lebanon; brothers, Kerry (Delenda) Courtwright of Lancaster, KY, Eric (Robin) Courtwright of Richmond, KY, and Alex (Colleen) Courtwright of Nicholasville, KY; nephews, Nash (Abby), Evan, and Henry Courtwright; and mother and father-in-law, Rita (Frank) Veroude of Australia.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family for their children's college fund.
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M.-12:30 P.M. Monday, December 14, 2020 at Bosley Funeral Home, with Rev. Shannon Franklin officiating. Following visitation there will be a private funeral service for the family. For anyone that is wanting to view the funeral via livestream, you will be able to do so on the Bosley Funeral Home Facebook page beginning at 12:55 P.M. Monday, December 14, 2020.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, during busy periods visitors will be asked to wait outside. Masks will be required to enter the building and food is not permitted at this time.
