Elze- Ellis Lloyd Elze. Mr. Elze went to be with the lord on August 27, 1999. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Lalla Ruth and his two children, Robin Hastings and husband, Ray of Phoenix, Arizona and Roberta Henig, of Denver, CO, grandchildren, Jeff Henig, Heather Hastings, Michael Hastings and Ariel Hastings. Pallbearers are Ray Hastings, Michael Hastings, Wayne Gueswell, Don Latimer, Ken Slick, Emory Postenreider and Jeff Henig. Mr. Elze retired from Los Alamos National Labs after 40 years of service as a security guard. He served in the U.S. Air Force during WW II. Visitation will be held Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Sandia Funeral Care, with Funeral Services to be held Tuesday at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Sandia Funeral Care. Interment is to be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to a local charity. Sandia Funeral Care, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 1-800-821-3721.
