Larry Schulz passed away suddenly on Sunday October 26, 2008, in Oakland, CA. "Memories are held with the family and friends that knew him."
Larry was born in the small town of Eureka, California, to Marvin and Carol Schulz on April 2, 1954. Larry graduated from Eureka High School and joined the U.S. Air Force where he reached the rank of Staff Sergeant. In civilian life, Larry spent most of his career with the U. S. Postal service.
Larry was a history and geography buff with an uncanny ability to draw maps without reference. Larry enjoyed relaxing watching T.V., baseball games, family functions, political conversations and drinking coffee or beer.
He is survived by his father, Marvin; mother, Carol; sister, Karen; brother, Greg; niece, Simone Thelemaque; nephew, Louis Thelemaque; great niece, Jayla Thelemaque; and long time friends, Carolynn Thelemaque and Clarence.
A celebration of Larry's life will be held on Friday, November 7 at the Pierce Funeral Home at 707 H Street in Eureka, CA, at 2:00 p.m.
