Seigel Howard Hall, 93, of Westville, passed away at 5:20am, Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at his home. He was born in Danville, IL on June 4, 1927 the son of Edward and Janice {Johnson} Hall. He was united in marriage to Mary E. Wright on February 20, 1947 in Westville, until her passing on March 15, 2006.

He will be missed by his five daughters: Marie (Pete) Reitmeier of St. Joseph, and their children, Mel Reitmeier, Seigel Retmeier, Pearl Baughman, Genetti Bozman, Charity Wright, James Reitmeier, Janette Evans, Lynn Aikman, & Maryann Aikman; Hope (Dale) Howard of Westville, and their children, David Straughn, Jeff Straughn, & April Howard; Donna (Mike)Pasley of Westville, and their children, Troy Pasley, Jason Pasley, & Mikey Pasley; Kelly (George) King of Westville and their children, Samantha Wells & Stephanie Balla; & Cindy Hall of Westville and her children, Britanee Rutledge, & Kathy Carroll; his thirty-two great grandchildren; and his thirteen great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Edward, Darrell, & Glenn Hall; and one sister, Juanita Bright.

Seigel was a proud Veteran of the US Army serving during 1945-1947 and was stationed in Germany. He worked as a painter for 38 years. He joined the Masons in 1974 with Catlin Masonic Lodge. He was a 4-times Master of the Lodge an obtained The Red Hat in 2002. He was a dad & grandpa to many, especially Darlena & Rick Dokey and their children. He was also known to be called “Old Blue Eyes”, like Frank Sinatra. Seigel will be dearly remembered by many.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00am, Monday, December 14, 2020, at Sunset Memorial Park, 3901 N. Vermilion, Danville. His family was assisted by Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Westville, Illinois 414 S State St. Westville, Illinois 61883. Memorial donations may be given in his name to the Shriners’.
