Hett Phillips, age 86 of Oneida, TN, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at the Tennova North Knoxville Hospital in Powell, TN. Born December 8, 1934 in Scott County, TN, he was the son of the late Ingram and Ella Terry Phillips.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Foust Phillips; grandparents: the late General and Alice Cross Phillips, and Starling and Sarah Cotton Terry; brothers: Maxwell Phillips, Arnold Acres; sisters: Hazel Grace Phillips and Betty Acres.
Hett is survived by his brother: Estle Acres of Oneida; sister: Lucille Evans and husband Argie of Oneida; special niece: Shirley West; and Bobby Jeffers of Dayton, OH; as well as other family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 11th, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in the Pine Hill Cemetery with Rev. Herbert L. Smith officiating.
