Lewis Frank Twohatchet, 73, was born on August 14, 1947 to Spencer and Peggy (Payahsape) Twohatchet in Lawton, Oklahoma. Lewis passed away surrounded by his loved ones on December 9, 2020 in Thomas, Oklahoma.

Lewis attended Fort Cobb and Carnegie Public Schools until being drafted by the Army. After being drafted, Lewis spent many years in Germany before coming back to live in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. After living nearly twenty years in Oklahoma City, Lewis returned home to Carnegie, Oklahoma.

Lewis is survived by two daughters, Lisa Twohatchet of Oklahoma, Monica Twohatchet of Oklahoma; two brothers, Spencer Twohatchet Jr. of Idaho, Donnie Twohatchet of Clinton, Oklahoma; one sister, Donna Mcgrit of Holdenville, Oklahoma; numerous other family members.

Lewis is preceded in death by step-daughter Carol Kadayso; his parents; three brothers, Gerald Twohatchet, Cecil Twohatchet, Van "Slick-o" Twohatchet; three sisters, Rosie Quotone, Victoria Twohatchet, Sandra Twohatchet.

Funeral services will be on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 1:00pm at the Freedom Worship Center in Thomas, Oklahoma. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry Yoder assisted by Marcelia Yoder. Interment will follow at 4:00pm at Samone Cemetery in Carnegie, Oklahoma. Under the direction of Ray and Martha's Funeral Home in Carnegie, Oklahoma.
