Born Nov. 5, 1911, in West Jersey to Jeffrey and Jennie Emmons Beamer, he married Arleen Botsch on June 8, 1937, in Waukegan. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, John of Toulon and Robert of West Jersey; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson. One sister preceded him in death.
He worked for the Civilian Conservation Corps near Milwaukee until moving back to West Jersey in 1947. He then was an inspector for Caterpillar Inc. for 30 years, retiring in 1977.
Burial will be in West Jersey Cemetery.
